Furry Lamp

The unique Fur Lamp is designed by designer Masha Volkova. Each lamp in this extraordinary series is inspired by a person personally known to Masha, making every piece a tribute to the individuality and spirit of those who have touched her life.

Masha Volkova, born in Russia in 2000, is an artist specializing in object art. She completed her studies at the DesignLab of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2021. Her artistic focus lies in the creation of furniture pieces that resemble sculptures and sculptures that take on the appearance of furniture. Through her work, she delves into the essence of objects, dissecting their personalities.

Volkova's designs are an ongoing exploration of the concept of objectification. She encourages viewers to not only contemplate the utilitarian aspects of everyday objects but also to reflect upon their moral and symbolic dimensions.
